Who Are Wavesfactory?

Wavesfactory was born in March, 2010 in Artà (Mallorca) with the goal to deliver high-quality audio tools for musicians and engineers. A mindset on improving on every product release in terms of audio quality, ease of use and powerful but simple features. Our principle is never release something you’re not 100% happy with.

This guiding value paid off when in 2012 we released the audio plugin “TrackSpacer” nominated for the SOS Awards in the “Best Plugin of the Year” category. Trackspacer has been used by hundreds of professional mixers and producers and DJs in studios around the world. We are honored that Trackspacer has been used by producer Rik Simpson on tracks with one of the biggest bands in the world, Coldplay.

TapeOp said “I would call this a secret-weapon plug-in, but the word is hereby out! TrackSpacer is a ridiculously affordable, easy way to get various elements of your mix to interact in useful and musical ways… Final words: buy it! It works!”

As the man said: “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication”.

The Man Behind Wavesfactory

Jesús Ginard is the man behind Wavesfactory.

Born in 1987 in Mallorca, studied classical and modern music and audiovisual media. He has composed original music for cinema.

He likes humour, Monty Python and silly things.

In an interview with Audio Spotlight Jesus said “I get inspiration from a lot of sources. There are a lot of things that can inspire you to make a sample library. A sound, a song, a composer, a company, an instrument, a software, a feeling, a dream, a movie… and the list goes on and on. What’s really important for me is the aim to get better and better on each library or audio plugin. Never go back in terms of quality.”

Music is my passion, programming is a cool adventure and Wavesfactory is not a job but a pleasure.
